I have been flying a lot lately and I was noticing more and more people were using these Bose headsets. During a delay at Seattle I stopped by a Bose sales booth and tried them out.

I put the headset on and the background noise of the busy airport was reduced but no more than I had imagined any set of over the ear headsets would have done, then the sales person flicked the switch and the airport disappeared!

So when I was recently promoted to a new position that would require me to do a lot more flying I decided to celebrate by buying myself a pair and so far I am very impressed. The first flight I took with them was a propeller plane to Boise Idaho. That was one loud plain but the headsets cut out the noise so I could concentrate on my work.
