I cant say the pull is not already there.. I have an AT&T mobile contract I am not using but have not yet canceled (long story) and walking past an Apple store without being drawn in by the iPhone is almost impossible but I just cant commit..yet.

The inability to cut and past is mind boggling! How can you add a persons email signature info into your address book without cut and past? Cut and past is a very basic part of every computer system.

And no spotlight search! I have thousands of business contacts in my blackberry, I can type in anything I remember about a person; first name, last name, company name, city anything and my blackberry will narrow my contact list to a few people and help jog my memory… where is spotlight on the iPhone?

My resistance to a device with those 2 big problems could crumble however given the recent release of the iPhone SDK. Apple are adding native exchange server synchronization! Salesforce.com is building a very nice native app it appears.. as are the wonderful omnifocus team (love/live-by that product)… cool games are going to be appearing on the platform and it is going to be 3G!

The iPhone is the platform that will suck Apple into the game industry and what happens then will be interesting to watch..
